Product descriptions 

We have taken every care to ensure that the descriptions of our cloth and other products available on this website are as accurate as possible. However, we must emphasise that, by the very nature of our cloth, there may be variations in the dye and regularity of design. These characteristics are an essential part of its individual, handcrafted beauty and should not be considered as flaws. We have done our best to use photographs that show the true colour of the cloth, as well as provide information on size of motif/design but, please remember that computer screens can show colours differently. If you would like to check the suitability of the cloth for your purposes, we would suggest you order a fat quarter in the same fabric if available.

 

Payment 

Our payment processes are entirely secure. Our site is hosted by the Wix.com platform and all direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Accepted Credit Cards: VISA, Master Card, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners and UnionPay (UnionPay is not yet available to all users)

Accepted Debit Cards:  Visa & MasterCard

 

We also offer payment via Paypal  https://www.paypal.com/tc/webapps/mpp/paypal-safety-and-security and use a Square card reader for our point of sale in-person sales https://squareup.com/gb/en/security

 

Delivery

We aim to process  all orders within 5  working days; if we are experiencing delays, we will let you know either by email or telephone.

 

We will email you to let you know when your order has been dispatched.

 

If you require any information regarding your order please contact us at contact@clothatelier.com quoting your order number.

 

Delivery within the UK

 

Standard  

  • Orders £80 and over: FREE

  • Orders up to £79: £4.50

Both these services are typically sent via Royal Mail. Delivery is usually within 2 to 5 working days*.

​

Delivery outside the UK

Europe: £15.00

Rest of World: £26.00 

 

International deliveries are all trackable within the UK and may require a signature on delivery.

 

Delivery times around the World vary, these are estimates:

  • Europe: 5-10 business days*

  • Rest of World:  9-14 business days*

 

Please allow sufficient time for your order to arrive. We cannot guarantee a delivery date and are not responsible for delays due to items held up by Customs.


Taxes & Duties

Please be aware that Cloth Atelier is not responsible for any import duty or other taxes that may be payable in your country of residence.

 

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before submitting your order. We cannot be held responsible for returned or undelivered orders due to address errors. We can resend orders but there will be an additional delivery charge.

 

*Please note that working days/ business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and English Bank Holidays


Returns

We hope you will be delighted with your purchase from us. While we do not give refunds or accept returns for cloth, as this will have been cut to your specific requirements, or for Sale items, for all other items we can offer a full refund provided you contact us within 7 days of receipt by emailing us at contact@clothatelier.com. The item[s] must be returned to the following address, unused and in the original condition, including all packaging, within 14 days of receipt. Please note that returns will not be provided for any item if notification is beyond  7 days of receipt.


Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment once we have received the item. We do not refund the original postage costs for returned goods unless a fault or error on our part. You are responsible for postage & other return costs, the goods are also your responsibility until they have been received by us. We recommend using a recorded delivery/tracked postal service. Postal charges will only be reimbursed to you by us in the case of faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. 

You are also fully responsible for the payment of any international taxes levied for a return package, e.g customs duty and/or VAT. To avoid this charge, please clearly mark your parcel RETURNED MERCHANDISE.

Please do not return goods without contacting us as above.

 

This does not affect your statutory rights.
